1. Vidaamuyarchi
Let’s start the month with a thriller starring the evergreen Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan. Vidaamuyarchi is based on the Hollywood movie Breakdown. Arjun and Kayal’s marriage is falling apart and they are on their way to get divorced. In a turn of events, Kayal is kidnapped by a truck driver, setting Arjun on the path to find her.

2. Kudumbasthan
Directed by Rajeshwar Kalisamy, Kudumbasthan is a comedy-drama film that explores family bonds and relationships. The movie delves into the life of Naveen, a lower-middle-class man navigating the complexities of family and financial pressures. Living with his pregnant wife, Vennila, and his parents, Naveen is the family’s sole breadwinner. After losing his job due to a disagreement at work, he faces mounting debts and strained relationships, particularly with his disapproving in-laws.

3. Mr Housekeeping
The movie tells the story of Honest Raj “Honest”, who is hired for a cleaning job at a villa. Later it is revealed that the villa belongs to his ex, Isai, who broke up with him. Honest looks at it as an opportunity to seek revenge. This leads to arguments, a battle of wits and uncovering of a hidden spark. Will these ex-lovers reunite or will their resentment deepen? The makers haven’t announced a release date yet but Mr Housekeeping is set to release in March 2025.

4. Dragon
If you’re looking for suspense, comedy and romance all blended into one, add Dragon to your watchlist. Ragavan is a bright student but a painful breakup takes him off track, turning him into a rebellious dropout. His quest for success leads him into the murky world of financial fraud, prompting a profound journey of self-discovery and redemption. The makers haven’t revealed the streaming date yet but Dragon is expected to stream towards the end of March.
